ART Station

The ART Station in Stone Mountain, Georgia is a contemporary arts center which is home to a theater company, 5 art galleries, a children’s gallery, a gift shop, classrooms and more. In 1987, the old Trolley Car barn was purchased and the dream to create a non profit arts center was realized. Now there is an abundance of programs available in every aspect of art including: Professional Equity Theatre Company, Winter and Spring classes for adults and children, Summer arts camp for youth, Performance company for youth and for teens, outreach programs, productions in the Children’s Theatre, an annual storytelling festival, and fundraising events throughout the year.

Coming up February 9 – 19, 2012 is an improv show called, “Name that Show”. Seasoned improvisational performers will improvise situations based on audience suggestions. Be prepared to laugh at the hilarious results.
