Stone Mountain Village
- August 3, 2010
For the last 10 years downtown Stone Mountain has made great strides in revitalizing the Stone Mountain area through historic preservation, volunteer involvement and promotional events. Stone Mountain Village is continuing on the path to success as it has many wonderful places to shop and great places to dine. You can stop in the visitor’s center located at the corner of Poole and Main Street in the historic caboose to get information on happenings in the town.
Don’t miss the Walk and Wine on the third Saturday of every month from 6 PM to 8 PM. Wander around Stone Mountain Village and mosey into stores where you can shop, meet the merchants, and get a sample of wines that are available for purchase in some of the local restaurants. What a nice way to get to know the local shop owners and enjoy an evening on the town.
Stone Mountain Village is located at the base of Stone Mountain just outside the west gate of Stone Mountain Park.
